What is: Explain that she received chapter XYZ back, test her reaction. If she appears visibly upset and is concerned, explain the benefits of receiving this chapter back. Now she is able to focus all of her attention on this one chapter who clearly saw something special in her that wants to get to know her better. It is all about being true to the process and ending up in one place. Tell them the benefits of going to the party for the day, and check in on them throughout the day/after the party. Be encouraging, don't pressure her.

What is nothing! Infractions only occur with timing that are over 1 minute.

What is: Follow the directions from your Chain of Command, take all of the women outside directly into the chapter house. Have them sit and use your notes to facilitate conversations/activities wisely. Wait until further instructions from your Chain of Command on what the new scheduling will be.

What is pull the two girls aside, reminding them about the PNM contract they signed. Also reminding them that this is a time to reflect about your own experience, and one's opinion may hurt someone else's feelings. Ensure them that if this happens again, action will be taken.

You are holding the door at the end of a party, and you notice a PNM walks out with a cup. What do you do?
What is simply take the cup from the PNM, and throw it out. If multiple PNMs are walking out with cups, take a note of it, and notify Kalani or Mandi.

You approach a quiet PNM in line, and you start conversing with her about her day. She mentions to you that she really hates her schedule and doesn't understand why all of her top houses dropped her. What would you say to her to effectively counsel her?
What is explain to her that all 17 chapters on this campus will be able to offer her a sisterhood, it is all about keeping an open mind and reflecting on each conversation she has in each party. Remind her that keeping an open mind is the best way to go through this process, as her emotions may change from party to party. Each chapter has a set of values that can be matched to any PNM. It is about her own values, what she is looking for in a sorority experience, and asking these questions to women in parties.

PNM Sally just received her bid and is unhappy with her choice. She doesn't want to give it a try, and wants to sign NO on the acceptance bid sheet. She says that she doesn't belong there and will be miserable if she accepts. What do you say?
What is: Remind her that ultimately this decision is hers. Remember to always tell her the benefits of joining any chapter on FSU's campus, as all 17 chapters have a sisterhood to offer. Remember, do not pressure her into doing something she doesn't want to do. Don't rush this conversation.

You are inside a chapter party during Sisterhood Round, and you notice that the party is going over by 5 minutes. What do you do?
What is at the end of the party once the doors are closed, calmly walk to the chapter box, take out the infraction form, and either write it on your way to the next party, or at the next party. Call Kalani and Mandi and let them know what happened, and hold onto that form until someone collects it from you.

It is in between a party, and you are walking to your next chapter. You notice a PNM in super high heels trip and fall on her way to her party. What do you do?
What is: Make sure you assist her if she needs help. If she has cut her leg and is bleeding, remember to NEVER touch any fluids, give her a bandaid, and ALWAYS fill out an incident report from any chapter box or the tent. Make sure if she needs any other serious attention to follow the crisis management plan.

What is have the bouncer tell you her number, mark her as present, turn the list in, and put her in number order in line Or... if you have already turned the list in, place her at the end of the line, and make sure you tell the chapter member inside she arrived (so they can edit the no show form)

A PNM that is not yours comes up to you during tent time. She expresses that her mom was in a sorority and is making her go through this. She feels that this experience really isn't for her and wants to release herself. How do you handle this situation?
What is: Explain to her that this process has definitely changed since her mom went through sorority recruitment, and it is definitely okay to feel uncertain about this process. Ask her how her experience has been so far, and remember to always remind her that this decision is hers to make, and no one else's.

During Roll Call you notice that PNM's #92 and #129 are no shows. What do you do?
What is: highlight them on the roster and write their numbers at the bottom, and write down their numbers on the No Show Form. Remember, to circle what party number it is on the No Show Form.

A woman in your cluster has mentioned she doesn't feel well. She feels tired, hot, and dizzy. When asking her what she ate today, she tells you "a granola bar". What are the appropriate actions to take?
What is: Call Michelle or Frank and stay with the woman. Make sure to state your location to Michelle or Frank on the phone. Once emergency has been handled, fill out incident form.

In the case where a PNM is missing, what are the appropriate steps to take?
What is Call missing PNM, then call Michelle/Frank, follow instructions given from them. NEVER contact PNM's family members or send out forms of mass communications to any persons.

What is you follow the chapter member to the Rho Gam room, collect the roster back, relax/charge phones, and remember to leave 5 minutes before the party ends, and remember to file the roster back into the chapter bin.

You have a PNM who is a legacy to chapter XYZ, and is only dead set on choosing this chapter. She doesn't want to keep an open mind, she only wants XYZ. How do you talk to your PNM?
What is: Explain to her that being a legacy holds such a wonderful part of history that is special to her family. However, remember to mention that there are 16 other chapters on this campus that will offer her just as much as her legacy chapter, and keeping an open mind will benefit her experience. Explain that what best suits HER, is what to keep in mind throughout the week, not what best suited your family member.

You have a PNM that told you she was extremely uncomfortable at the last party she was at. When digging deeper and conversing with her more, she tells you that the woman was very purposeful in her words, and you notice she told you that the woman told her "I can't wait to see you tomorrow, you're so meant for this chapter". What do you do?
What is ask the PNM if she wants to file a report on the chapter. Ensure her that her confidentiality will be kept. If she does, have her fill out the infraction form, and sign as a witness. From there, call Kalani and Mandi immediately.
