What's water?
A water sport that includes 4-8 paddlers trying to SURVIVE the rapids on a raft.
What is white water rafting?
A merit badge requiring drawing, painting, or creativity.
What is the art merit badge?
Right over left, left over right.
What is a square knot?
Crawling through dark caves with a flashlight and your hommies.
What is spelunking/caving?
A fun activity with shoes, some with wheels and some without.
What is skating?
Using rope to join two or more poles.
What is a lashing?
Difficulty levels include green circle, blue square, and black diamond.
What is skiing?
A boat fitting supplies and 2 to 3 people. Includes a gunwale, seats, and paddles.
What is a canoe?
Tie a 3 foot fishing line around the bend, push down on the shank, give the line a quick yank.
How do you get a fish hook out?
An activity that requires gloves to prevent injury high above the tree canopy.
What is zip lining?
Our local scout camp, with archery, shotgun, rifle, X-TREME course, BB guns, a pool with a water slide, and a rock wall.
What is Camp Shands?
One bite at a time.
How do you eat an elephant?
Rock climbing that is acceptable without safety gear.
