“See you next round,” ”can’t wait to see you on Bid Night,” “you’ll be a great ZTA,” etc.
What is the ZTA motto, and how does it reflect our sisterhood?
"Seek the Noblest." It reflects our commitment to living with integrity, striving for excellence, and supporting each other in all aspects of life.
What do you do if you need help having a conversation with a PNM?
Use the hand signal if you’re in a tough situation. Fingers crossed behind the back!
If someone were to ask you how you voted on a PNM, what would you say?
Something along the lines that “voting is confidential, so I can’t discuss it!”
What are the dates and times of rounds 1, 2 and 3 (not including arrival times)?
Round 1 in Lowenthal Hall: Friday Sept 6. at 7 - 9 pm
Round 2 in Lowenthal Hall: Saturday Sept 7. at 3 - 9:30 pm

Members can take on roles such on PC and EC, committee positions, and participate in national leadership conferences (fun and educational trips like OLA and ELA)!
What are some assets you look for in a PNM?
Leadership, academics, involvement, communication, enthusiasm, teamwork, positivity, values.

Being Rather than Seeming, Leadership & Responsibility, Loyalty & Commitment, and Asset to Chapter!
What are some topics that are off limits during recruitment? Give 5 for points!
Some may include alcohol, drugs, parties, other organizations, romantic relationships, politics, religion, drama, finances not relevant to being a new member, future rounds, etc.
What should you do if a PNM asks about another sorority or organization?
Politely redirect the conversation to focus on ZTA by saying something like, “I’m not sure about that, but let me tell you more about what makes ZTA special!” This keeps the conversation positive and centered on ZTA.

Did you hold any leadership positions in high school? Connect this into PC and EC roles.

What is a positive ID in voting procedure?
It is a description of the PNM that is factual: including hair color, height, major, hometown, pronouns, etc.
What is the person that begins the bump called? Why are they so important?
They are called the ’trigger.’ They are important because they start the transition between conversations, helping ensure a smooth and organized recruitment process.
What are some ZTA requirements? Ie: paying dues.
Living in the house 2 semesters, being on PC once, attending mandatory events, 6 hours of community service as a new member and 12 as an initiated sister, study hours, etc.
What is the NFL Crucial Catch?
We get to go to an NFL game because they’re one of our sponsors! Crucial Catch promotes prevention and early detection of cancer, which can impact anyone at any age, and increases access to lifesaving cancer screenings.
What are the four stages of conversation with a Potential New Member during recruitment?

In red light/green light voting, what is the proper procedure? (BONUS! We didn’t go over this… we did it last semester!)
VP III asks for a positive ID about the PNM. She then ensures everyone knows who we are talking about, and procedes by asking if everyone is comfortable with this person receiving an invite to pref or potential bid. Everyone’s eyes are closed and hands raise.
