If a member calls in stating that they are trying to apply for an account with us but they are not allowed because there is already a profile with their SSN, once you complete the review and ask some probing questions the member mentions that he created the profile but no longer has access to it. Would you still create the CIF ticket?

No, we should only create CIF release tickets in IDT cases.

There is no scenario. Whenever an ATO claim was made and there are signs of ATO, we should ALWAYS create the ATO ticket assigned to Financial Crimes D&P

How do we find the very first uid that was created?
  1. Go to WebCSR.

  2. Look for the profile with the SSN, always. 

  3. At the top of the page you will find the first UID, on User ID.

Mention the new MCD update characteristics? 

  • In the raw image of the check we will easily identify that the check is altered and fake since it will have normal characteristics from a fraudulent check (screenshots, different fonts, altered numbers, missing security items, etc) 

  • The account movement is for less than $5,000.00. They might have true transactions such as bill payments, deposits, ACH, withdrawals or so but in total or individual they are for less than $5,000.00 

  • Account may not have any previous check deposit 

  • In some cases, we may also come across some accounts with CashApp transactions or p2ps, if this is the case, we should also take a look at them to have a better understanding of what is going on.
