Reasons for temporary absence:
Albertans who are long term vacationers routinely residing outside Alberta from 183 to 212 days out of each year
Albertans who attend school full-time outside Alberta and who plan to return permanently to Alberta upon completion of their studies
Albertans who are temporarily absent for sabbatical, missionary, vacation or work purposes
o Alberta Health has not received the parents confirmation of Alberta residency for children of non-entitled parents
