Transmission of the Word of God. Passed down from the Apostles to their successors, and on and on.
What is Apostolic Tradition?
a short blessing that shows the Catholic faith. Used before and after prayers, and when passing a holy area, like a Church.
What is the Sign of the Cross?
Jesus’s last meal, spent with his disciples and friends and family. This was where he revealed that he knew who would betray him

The first half of the Bible, talks about time before Jesus. Has 46 books.
What is the Old Testament?
Jesus’s teachings in the Sermon on the Mount. The meaning and way to true happiness and fulfillment
What is the Beatitudes?
The full content of divine revelation. Contained in Sacred Scripture and Sacred Tradition. Handled by the Magisterium

The perfect and ideal place you go after death to be reunited with God
What is Heaven?
The first season of the Liturgical year. Represented by the color purple. Celebrates waiting for the birth of Jesus with 5 candles in order: 2 purple, 1 pink, 1 purple, and lastly a white candle on the day He is born.
What is Advent?
The second half of the Bible, starts with Jesus’s life
What is the New Testament?
The fact that Jesus is both fully divine and Fully human
What is Incarnation?
The state of humanity without the original holiness and justice Adam and Eve enjoyed in Eden before the Fall
What is Original Sin?
The place after death you go to after living an immoral life without repenting. Eternally separated from God.
What is Hell?
The feast day where we pray for the souls in purgatory

The sacrament where we receive the Body and Blood of Christ

The name of Jesus’s teaching about the Eucharist
What is the Bread of Life Discourse?
The theological virtue in which we place our trust in God and his promises and desire the Kingdom of God

the place after death between Heaven and Hell. kind of like a waiting room for Heaven. Joy of escaping Hell, pain of not fully being with God yet.
What is Purgatory?
The dogma saying that Mary has been pure and saved from original sin since conception
What is the Immaculate Conception?
The word describing how God and Jesus are both fully God and of the same substance
What is Consubstantial?
The doctrine saying that Mary was a virgin before, during, and after Jesus’ birth. It refers to Jesus’s conception in Mary by the Holy Spirit
What is Virgin Birth?
The theological virtue by which someone comes to know God and truly believe in Him and His Truth. Both a gift from God and a human act.
