in the Dead Poet’s Society Professor Keating suggest the idea of “Carpe Diem” ( seize the moment), how is this unrealistic for people who are supporting themselves?
In the Dead Poet’s Society “Carpe Diem” was a positive message telling the boys to live in the moment and with passion and excitement. In the film the boys live in a dorm and are supported by their parents, in other words they do not have to worry about the essentials. However this is different for people who are supporting themselves, people supporting themselves have to worry about making ends meet. Living in the moment is important but having somewhat of a safety net is also important.

In the movie "Roger and me" GM closed down its factory which was the main source of jobs in the town of Flint. What was the reason that large corporations shut down the factory and was this morally correct or incorrect?
They closed down factories to ship off the jobs to third world countries in order to save money because they can pay the workers there less. This is morally incorrect because here, this takes the workers dignity to work and their vocation to work. Also it is wrong because the workers in third world countries are paid less than minimum wage and can not provide for themselves.

"The presence of poverty indicates an absence of Justice" is this statement true and explain why?
This statement is true. In today's society the gap between the poor and rich is becoming bigger and bigger. The rich become richer and the poor become poorer. Large corporations profit off of cheap labour, the corporations save money and the poor are paid low wages. The lack of justice on corporations allows them to take advantage of people and push them further into poverty.
