When will you be allowed to use restroom?
Depends on the teacher. School policy is that you can't go the first or last 10 minutes of class.
What time does school let out?

Try to balance it out between classes, and not always go during the same class. Otherwise, that teacher might ban you from going in her/his class.
What are the 4 6th grade teams?
Gold, Silver, Green and Blue
Yes - you will take PE once each year - for one semester.
Are there after school clubs?
Yes - for almost every interest.
When can you go to the locker? How hard are they to open?
You can only go during homeroom and after 5th period. It will take a couple of days to get used to your combination, but teachers are great and they'll help you!

What are some of the fun connections?
Adventure Quest, International Perspectives (cooking), Photography, Design for Change, Design Engineering
What kind of food options do they have?
Burrito, soup, hamburger, pizza, sandwich and salad bar - these are options everyday. You can also get chips, La Croix or fruit cup.
What are some of the clubs offered?
Journalism club, yearbook, history club, geography club, Dungeons and Dragons, Reading Cafe...and so much more!
Will I ever be around 7th or 8th graders?
Not really - the 6th grade teams are all in one wing. You might have to pass other grades in hallways when you're walking to connections.
What languages can you take?
Spanish or French
Who will you have connections with? And where will the connections classes be?
You will see kids from other 6th grade teams in your connections classes. These classes can be anywhere in the building.
Yes - as long as you have a reason. You can't just go see your friends. But you can get silverware and go to bathroom without asking.
How often will I get lost?
Nobody at Renfroe expects you to know where you're going the first two weeks. There will be no penalties and teachers are very nice and helpful. You'll have it down in a week!

Is Middle School as scary as it is in books and movies?
Absolutely not! It's so much fun, the teachers are amazing, you'll make lots of new friends, and the classes are interesting!
