READ THE TEXT AND IDENTIFY A CHARACTER TRAIT OF TRACY. CHOOSE EVIDENCE FROM THE STORY TO SUPPORT YOUR TRAIT: She was too old to play hide-and-seek. But her mother had asked her to watch her cousins. They were just six. The twins were visiting for the weekend. So Tracy did what she could to keep them entertained. But she didn’t hide her feelings about it. “Okay. I have to play with you two. So let’s get it over with,” she said. They rolled their eyes at her. They weren’t happy about the plan either. Every time they visited, the kids were sent to play with her. Because she was three years older, she thought she was much smarter than they were. She liked to show off. She’d been doing it for years. Once, she rode around them on her two-wheeler. While she rode in a circle, she said, “I bet you can’t ride a two-wheeler.” It was true. Last year, they were still using training wheels. But they knew that she wasn’t really better than they were. So, today, her game was hide-and-seek. She was “it,” of course. She always picked the best part for herself first. They hid. She found them. The game was boring all of them. Then Gabe and Libby had an idea. “When she hides, let’s not find her. Let’s see how long it takes for her to see that we’re not playing.”
Examples: Conceded - "She liked to show off." Selfish - "She always picked the best part for herself first." Negative - "But she didn't hide her feelings about it."

WRITE A CONCLUSION SENTENCE TO THIS WRITING. INTRODUCTION _ Tornados can happen anywhere. In the U.S, there are an average of over 1,000 tornados each year. Canada has about 100 each year. Tornados may be frightening, but people can survive a tornado. BODY PARAGRAPH _ Every family should have a plan in case there is a tornado. They should talk about where they should go if the storm strikes. If the shelter is in a home, it’s a good idea to keep canned goods, water, a flashlight, a radio, and a first aid kit in the shelter area.A family should also decide how they can find each other if they are separated when the storm hits. They should have a place to meet after the storm passes. Many schools have a plan on how to reunite families after a storm in case it happens during the school day. If a tornado warning has been issued or a tornado is approaching, it is important to go to a safe place immediately. You should not take pictures or make phone calls. Tornados can travel very quickly. No place is completely safe from a direct tornado hit, but some places are better than others. In homes, it is in a basement. If there is no basement, you can go to a place on the lowest floor with no windows. Good places may be a bathroom, a closet or a hall. People in mobile homes should leave the home and go to a building or storm shelter. Mobile homes are not safe during a tornado, as they can turn over in the high winds.3. When you are in the shelter, you can make yourself safer by getting under a table or a bench. Cover your body with a mattress, pillows or a blanket. It will even help to cover your head with your hands. Stay away from heavy objects like refrigerators or a heavy chest of drawers. CONCLUSION _
Example: CONCLUSION _ Tornados can be very dangerous, but families can survive them. Families should have a plan for where to go, how to find each other, and how to protect their bodies from a tornado.
