He said: "I will be here early tomorrow"
He said that he would be there early the following day.

My mother asked me to get/fetch take her her bag, which was on the shelf in the hall.

She said that she would come with us/him/them... as soon as she was ready and that she still wasn't ready/ that she wasn't ready yet.
