Tim told her/him that he was exhausted today.
"Is there any petrol in the tank?" My father asked.
My father asked if there was any petrol in the tank.

Megan asked John what he was doing that evening.
"I will buy a house tomorrow" Sarah said.
Sara said that she would buy a house that day.
