When does a class start?
The class starts when the bell rings.
What do you need to bring to classes?
A notebook, your books (Gatewey SB+WB B1) a FOLDER, a pen and assignments that are due.

What can you do during an English class?
Coursework is designed to help you become a better reader, writer, speaker, and thinker in English. As a result, you are not allowed to deal with any other subject materials in this class, except English as a foreign language.
How you can hand in your assignments?
All handwritten assignments (e.g.essays) are collected at the beginning of class on the due date. Digital assignments similarly must be uploaded into our Google Classroom on the due date.
How are you expected to behave during class?
You are expected to behave in a polite way and be respectful to all students, teachers, and guests. ✅
How can you show your awesomeness in class?
You can show your awesomeness on each class, by being proactive, prepared and ready for work. Moreover, on Wednesdays (WVTs) and also in the case of FileTests the floor is yours!

How active should you be during classes?
The more (pro)active you are, the more effective and successful your learning progress will be. 😉
What happens to late assignments?
Late assignments will receive a 1 and then must be handed in later on! 1 can be deleted if the assignment is handed in/uploaded/sent by email until midnight. After that, 1 remains and another mark will be given as well.
What about swearing or rude comments?
⛔ There will be any swearing or rude comments...never! NOTHING!
How could you know your grades?
Grades will be administrated in mozaNapló and updated at least once a month.
Do I have any siblings?

What if you're absent?
First things first: An absence from school is NOT an excuse for NOT completing work. Email me to let me know you will be out. If you feel well-ish enough to do work, ask if there are any assignments you could do while you are at home. Check for class postings and assignments (Google Classroom) and 📝Do the work. Do the work. Do the work.
Whose responsibility is that you could get missed notes or assignments?
YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE (not your peers, not your teacher) for getting any missed notes or assignments that were given during your absence.
What happens to illegally used cell phones?
Per school policy, a device used ’ illegally’ will be taken from you and your parenst can get it back at the end of that school day.

In general, we use the following marking:
50% - 2, 62% - 3, 73% - 4, 85% - 5
When did I start learning English?
I started learning English in 5th grade, elementary.
What is the key to your 100% participation in this class?
You have to be prepared and ready for work!
How much time are you given up to complete any work after your absence?
Obviously, things that can be completed during your absence are expected on the day you return. For FileTests you’ll be given up to five days to complete the work. If you suffer an extended illness, contact me to discuss a schedule for you to turn in your work.
What are the consequences of cheating or plagiarism?
(plagiarism=presenting someone else's work or ideas as your own, with or without their consent, by incorporating it into your work without full acknowledgement.)
The consequences of cheating or plagiarism vary based on the severity of the offence. However, it damages your reputation. First, you'll be warned, then you might get extra work to do as a penalty, or you'll be required to re-do your assignment. In severe cases, it is possible to get a 1 mark.
What happens if you fail at the final B1+ exam?
YOU WON'T FAIL!
If yes, we're sorry, but this is the basic requirement for you to continue your studies in this bilingual program. If you fail 1-2 parts of your exam, you can retake it, otherwise, you must find somewhere else to continue...Please do not!
