A careful study of a subject, especially in order to discover new facts or information about it.
What is research?
A place,book,radio,person or podcast that you get something from.
What is source?
A person who is in charge of a newspaper,magazine,etc.. or part of any and checking for mistakes.
What is editor?
An organised set of data that is stored in a computer and can be looked at and used in various ways.
What is database?
A type of large thin book with a paper cover that you can buy every week or month containing articles,photographs etc..
What is magazine?
An organisation responsible for developing MLA format often called MLA style. It is used by writers to find and evaluate information.
What is MLA?
A subject that you talk, write, or learn about. You decide to research about this.
What is topic?
Used to locate general factual information on a particular topic.
What is reference source?
A page which has a formatted list of all sources you cited within your paper.
What is works cited?
The quality that someone or something has that makes people believe or trust them.
What is credibility?
A newspaper or magazine that deals with a particular subject or profession.
What is journal?
A list of books or articles about a particular subject by a particular author.
What is bibliography?
Based on general ideas and not on any particular real person, thing or situation.
What is abstract?
A new copy of a book or article or an advertisement.
What is reprinted article?
A note of explanation or comment added to a text or diagram?
