First, look in your backpack. Next, ask a friend. As a last resort, ask to borrow one and sign it out and return it at the end of class.

First time - name on board/warning. Second time - check mark/2nd warning. Third time - CBVN

Attempt to answer the question. If you haven't been paying attention, PAY ATTENTION!

Why is homework sometimes necessary?
Because our class periods are so short it is sometimes impossible to finish everything we need to practice during class!

Filling in you planner helps you remember what you need to finish at home. You need to get it initialed so your parents can check whether you have homework.
Why is it important to behave appropriately and accept consequences?
It shows that you have respect for yourself and others.
What should you do if you finish your work before other people?
Read silently or ask if there is something else you should work on.
Where should you do when you enter the classroom?
Read the board and take out your materials for the day.
What should you do if you're upset about something?
Wait until the appropriate time and let your teacher know if it's important.
What happens if you don't do your homework?
Your grades will drop and you won't get the necessary practice to do well on tests.
What happens if you continue to get CBVNs for the same things?
You will eventually get a referral and it will go in your permanent file.
