Things you might find in a restaurant
This is the person who takes your order, brings you your food and asks for the bill at the end of the meal. If they do a good job, you might give them a tip.

This was my first job after University and my least favourite job. I worked for a finance company but my role was very simple. I had to organise data and information to ensure that all the information was correct.

Pirates Of The Caribbean: Curse Of The Black Pearl (2003)
This was my job during the holidays when I was a student. We were employed to construct structures that people could use for events or even to live in. It was physically very difficult but a lot of fun (although slightly dangerous).
Builder
This is the place where food is prepared. It might have a fridge, a workspace and even speakers to listen to music. They are normally very hot as a result of the oven.
A kitchen
This action film tells the story of a few hundred Spartan soldiers who fight against a huge Persian army led by King Xerxes. It stars Gerard Butler as King Leonidas and is famous for its dramatic, highly stylised visual effects, slow-motion action scenes and comic-book style.
300 (2006)
I worked in a place that traditionally sells beer, cider and local food. They are often hundreds of years old and are very popular in England. My role was to sell the pints to customers, so I had to be friendly and chatty.
A bartender
This is the place where you might leave your jacket if you are wearing one. It normally is high up, so that the jackets can dangle and stay in a good shape.

A young man from Mumbai becomes a contestant on a famous TV quiz show and surprises everyone by knowing the answers. The film shows his difficult childhood and how his experiences helped him answer the questions. It stars Dev Patel and Freida Pinto and was directed by Danny Boyle.
Slumdog Millionaire (2008)
This was my last job in Manchester before leaving for Colombia. I worked with clients, providing legal help and advising them on what was their best option. I worked with lawyers, and was almost a lawyer myself.
