What is the baptism of the lamb? 

The priest "washes" or rather Baptises the Lambas Christ was baptized in the Jordan river by St. John the Baptist. At the baptism of Christ, the heavens were opened. During this time in the liturgy, the heavens are opened and is a perfect time to pour our hearts to God.
