Bayshore: Ask the driver if they are on the bus. Contact the parents. Contact the school.

School sites: Contact the front office (check if they were parent pick up). Contact the parents.

A parent is disgruntled about a situation that happened with their child. What steps do you take?

Informed: Calmly explain to them the situation. If it escalates refer them to a supervisor. then inform your supervisor of the situation.

Not informed: Try to calm them down by explaining that you will look into the situation and get back to them with more information. remind them safety is our top priority. Then inform your supervisor of the situation.
