Turning and talking/answering the question with someone that is near you.
What does it look like during partner work?
Only talking to our partner, staying in our seats, finishing our work
What does independent work look like?
By yourself, no talking, staying in your seat
What materials should you have out at the beginning of class?
Either computer getting on Desmos or a pencil
What should you do if you have missing assignments?
Look on the board at when it is due, complete it on Schoology and email Mrs. Nepert or complete it on paper.
What is the purpose of whole group instruction?
To learn the main part of the lesson. To learn a new skill
What if you get stuck on a problem during partner work and the teacher is busy with another student?
Skip the problem and work on another problem until the teacher is free to help you.
Can the teacher help you on independent work if the assignment is graded?
No, we want to see what you can do.
What if my computer needs charging?
Put it in the charging bin/find a spot to charge and use paper until it is charged.
Where can you practice a skill learned in class if you feel like you are struggling with understanding the content?
Completing the homework, completing the repeated challenges on Desmos, any Delta Math
