What's the conflict that Equality is having in this text?
Equality is struggling with being curious in a world that punishes him for being an individual. He wants to explore and learn, but his society doesn’t want him to learn more. They want to keep him dumb so that he will obey orders without any question. Some evidence that supports this is when he talks about his experience in school. His teachers always punished him the most for being brighter and quicker than other students.

So Equality 7-2521 lives with all of the other street sweepers instead of with a family. The citizens of this world don’t have families. They are born to work a job until they are 40 and then they are sent to the home of the useless.
