RIGHT! A good student is an engaged one. When you are at your spot, not touching things, and are listening, it tells me that you are ready!
You have been given homework and then are told to go to Mr. Ortiz's. You CAN work on the homework in his class, right? What would you do?
Don't. My time is MY time. If you NEED help with homework, and we have spare time, I can help you. For now, it would not be a good time to do the assignment.

WRONG. You are to be at your seat unless I specifically tell you to move. I'm glad my classroom is cool, but that does not mean you get to get up and walk around as you choose. If you NEED a movement break, let me know first.
A student is not wanting to leave because they absolutely enjoy it in Mr. Ortiz's room. What's not to love? You begin to pack up to leave, but see that a student is not wanting to leave with you. What should you do?
Encourage them/get them to leave. Tell on them if you must to your teacher. Your classmate does not get an excuse to stay because they "like it here". You'll be doing them a favor.

Your teacher sent you out outside of your scheduled time for a test (or a quiz, or just help in general). As you start to come to Ortiz, you think that it should be ok to come because the teacher sent you, even though they never said he was called. You come into the classroom in the middle of his lesson and ask to take that test. Right or wrong?
Wrong. Your teacher NEEDS to let me know in advance in situations like that.
