How do we know there is a God?
There are 5 of them.
Creation, Conscience, Bible, Jesus and Christian
What prevents us from knowing God?
Sin (Isaiah 59:2)
Idols (Exodus 20:3)
" Therefore, just as sin came into the world through one man, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men[a] because all sinned"
We are sinners by nature and act.
"You know when I sit down and when I rise up; you discern my thoughts from afar."
Psalm 139:2-4: All-knowing
"Repent therefore, and turn back, that your sins may be blotted out,"
We should hate our sin and turn from it to God.
"In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth."
Genesis 1:1: Creator
" Indeed, under the law almost everything is purified with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sins."
Pardon for sin: Hebrews 9:22b
"For Christ also suffered[a] once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive in the spirit"
The Lord Jesus took our punishment so we can bejust.

Peace that lasts: Philippians 4:7
"I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus."
We must seek to live to please Him.
"Who will not fear, O Lord, and glorify your name? For you alone are holy."
Revelation 15:4: Holy
"We have all become like one who is unclean, and all our righteous deeds are like a polluted garment. We all fade like a leaf, and our iniquities, like the wind, take us away."
We cannot please God by ourselves.
"Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever you had formed the earth and the world, from everlasting to everlasting you are God."
Psalm 90:2: Eternal
"Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord."

Genesis 17:1: All-powerful
"Beloved, we are God's children now, and what we will be has not yet appeared; but we know that when he appears[a] we shall be like him, because we shall see him as he is."
One day we will be like Him.
