It keeps me from having a relationship with God.
What was Jesus doing in the garden?
Praying.
How can you have your sins forgiven and have a forever relationship with God?
By believing in Jesus.
As Jesus hung on the cross what did he ask God to do for the people?
Forgive them.
What surprised Mary Magdalene and the other women when they went to the tomb?
The stone was rolled away, and the tomb was empty.
If you have believed in Jesus as your Savior, when a friend asks you how you know what you believe is true what could you tell them?
I could tell them the promises God made and how they came true.
Why were the religious leaders at the temple making plans to kill Jesus?
They rejected Jesus as the promised savior.
Why couldn't the religious leaders find anything wrong with Jesus?
Jesus was innocent and he never did anything wrong.
What can you do to cause God to love you more or less?
Nothing.
Was Jesus angry at the disciples because they left him when he was arrested?
No, he showed them love.
How did Jesus show God's love for you?
By dying on the cross.
Why were all the people going to Jerusalem?
To celebrate the Passover
Why was Jesus the only one who could die for sinners?
Jesus is the only one who is without sin.
What did the two men hanging on the crosses by Jesus say to him?
One made fun of Jesus, and the other one believed in him.
When Mary Magdalene and the other women went to Jesus' tomb who told them Jesus had come back to life?
Angels.
Who is the only one who can set you free from the punishment of your sin?
Jesus.
What was the feast Jesus and his disciples were celebrating?
Passover.
What animal did Peter hear after the third time he said he didn't know Jesus?
A rooster.
How were the two men that were crucified next to Jesus different from him?
They deserve to be punished but Jesus didn't.
If you have believed in Jesus what should you do when sad things happen and you don't know why?
Trust in God.
Why did God send the Messiah?
To make a way for me to be safe from sin and have a relationship with God.
What does it mean that God is omniscient?
He knows everything.
When Pilate could find no fault with Jesus, he decided to give the people a choice to either set Jesus or Barabbas the evil prisoner free. Who did the people choose to set free?
Barabbas.
What is something that happened when Jesus died?
There was an earthquake, the sky was dark, and the curtain in the temple ripped in half.
When Jesus appeared in the room with his disciples, what did he do to prove he wasn't a ghost, but he had really come back from the dead?
He showed them the scars on his hands and feet; he let them touch him, and he ate something.
