Go to the 'E for Everybody' section. Look for the letter of author's last name and go to that bin/bins.
When you want to search for a book, what do you need to do?
- go to the right section
- search the Destiny Discover catalog
- use a shelf marker by placing it next to the book
- when you find the right book, remove it carefully from the middle of the spine

It is a label on the spine of a book that tells where the book is located (F, E for Everybody, NONFICTION) and the first 3 letters of the author's last name.
How do you find a fictional chapter book?
-Search the Destiny Discover catalog
-Go to the section that is the author's last name
-Use a shelf marker and put it next to the book
-Carefully remove the book by the spine

How do you find a NONFICTION book in this library?
-check the Destiny Discover online
-write down the call number which will be a number and the first 3 letters of the author's last name
- Look at the signs and go there ---> (look at the classifications- 000s, 100s, 200s, 300s, 400s, 500s, 600s, 700s, 800s, 900s
-go to that section with a shelf marker and put the shelf marker near the book
How should you treat a library book?
- have clean hands
- turn the pages carefully from the outside corner
- carry it safely so it does not drop
- keep it away from drinks and food
- store it in a safe place: keep it away from small children and pets
- treat it like a little baby- very carefully and responsibly
-when inside your backpack, it is separate from food or drink and DO NOT DROP YOUR BACKPACK
