Who is on the Standards Board?

The standards board is composed of three to four members, one elected from the senior, junior and sophomore new-member classes, plus the vice president-standards. After initiation, a first-year student member should be elected to the board. The vice president-standards serves as chairman; the board includes an alumna from the chapter advisory board.

Who may serve alcohol at a KD social event?

AND

What beverages may be served at a KD social event? 

  • A designated server who is over 21 years of age; who is not a member of Kappa Delta; 

  • And who does not consume alcohol before or during the event.

AND

  • Only beer and wine are allowed at Kappa Delta-sponsored functions, including parties co-sponsored with another organization. The only exception is for functions which take place at third-party venues that meet all insurance requirements with licensed bartenders who are also insured with required general liability and liquor liability limits.
