Be safe, be respectful, be responsible, and be kind.
What is the expectation for entering the classroom?
At the beginning or end of class, never during instruction.
How many passes do you have per week?
Seven.
What is the first consequence for breaking a classroom rule?
Warning from Mrs. Hood

Find your seat quickly and quietly.
When should you get ready for dismissal?
Two minutes before the bell.
How long do you have to complete work after being absent?
Two days for every day absent. (Sick Monday - Due Wednesday)
What is the second consequnce?
Logical Consequence (Moving seats, reflection sheet, removal from activity, time with Mrs. Hood before school/after class).

What is the first thing you need to do at the beginning of every class period?
Fill out planner
When are you allowed to leave the room at the end of class?
When Mrs. Hood dismisses your row/column/group.
What is the expectation for using shared supplies from the cart or the cube organizer?
Borrow supplies and use them responsibly.
What is the third consequence?
Detention/Phone Call Home

What is the second thing you need to do at the beginning of every class period?
Complete Warm Up
To leave the classroom for any reason during class, what must you do?
Ask permission, fill out and have the teacher sign your planner, and complete the sign-out sheet by the door. (Add time upon return.)
What is the expectation for using the comfy chairs?
Always ask first and only use them during free time (not at the beginning of class).
What is the final consequence?
Sent to the principal's office.

Idea: Helping another student when they do not understand
Idea: Joking about others who are struggling with something you understand
What happens if you are not in your seat, with your materials, working when the bell rings?
You are counted tardy.
If you are out of passes or do not have your planner, what is the consequence?
5 minutes before school.
What is the expectation for using computers during class?
Only use computers when asked to or allowed by Mrs. Hood.
