The first soil was the hard path- the seeds could not get into the soil and the birds ate them

No. He sent them away right after dinner

Yes. He raised her from the dead

Just before passover, showing that this miracle was like God feeding Israel the manna

True believers persevere (continually trust) and they bear spiritual fruit

Peace. Jesus is the Prince of Peace, who came to make peace on earth

What does Immanuel mean?
God with us.
Do parables only hide truth?
No. Jesus used parables to teach truth to those who wanted to hear and understand
What was the point of both miracles?
Jesus is God, with God's power and God's love.
Did the people at Jairus' house fear Jesus? What did they do?
No. They laughed at Him. They didn't know how powerful He is.
Why did Jesus go away from them?
Because they only wanted to use Him to get what they wanted.
When the disciples saw Jesus what did they think he was?
A ghost
What is the main point of the parable?
The four soils show that people respond to to God's word in different ways
Whose choice was it to sail at night and why?
Jesus. Showing he leads us through hard times on purpose so that we may know Him better
What was wrong with the woman that touched Jesus
She had bleeding that wouldnt stop for 12 years and she had spent all her money, doctors only made it worse, and she was ceremonially unclean.
What did Jesus call himself after, and why?
Bread of life, to show that we need to receive and trust Jesus Himself
How did peter show his faith in Jesus and when did he sink?
trusted jesus enough to jump out of the boat. He submitted to Jesus by asking permission. He sank after he took his attention off Jesus.
