When there is a pause for people to catch up on writing notes, Ms. Delmonico gives permission, or it is independent work time.

A quick wave is fine, do not get up to give a hug or say hi.
Once you have your cool down, what do you do?
Work independently for the set time before asking an adult for help. Y’all need to work quietly so others can focus and do their best work.

Wait quietly at your seat, whispering to neighbors or gathering materials.

We follow the directions of the game and do not target specific students.
What do you do if you finish writing down notes earlier than classmates?
Doodle in the margins, put head down, other quiet activities
When you are done with your cool down, what do you do?
Turn it into the correct bin and grab your computer to hop on ST Math unless given a different instruction.
If you have a question about a lab, reading, or worksheet, what should you do?
Ask a neighbor first or ambassador, then raise your hand to ask Ms. D.
When Ms. Delmonico, or any adult is speaking, what should you be doing?
You should show active listening by having your body facing them and your voice off. Raise your hand or show a signal to ask for something.
If you are not participating in the activity, what are you doing?
You are at your seat waiting for the game to be done, completing a silent activity or quietly chatting with neighbors.
How do we ask to use the restroom, water, or a break? (show me)
Hand signals. Thumb under pointer for restroom, 3 for water, 4 for break. If I give you permission for a break, you need to bring me a timer.

Be respectful and kind, and know that the project has an end date. Ms. D is here to help any major issues, but learning to work with others is a necessary skill.
