First battle of the war. British marched to capture weapons of the Patriots. First shot known as shot heard round the world. This might be a longer war.
Battle of Lexington and Concord
Fought for both sides, but mainly the British. Often used as scouts. Scalping is something they did in this war to receive payment for "bounties" from the British. Americans used the action as propaganda against the British.

Anybody can understand this pamphlet. That King George is a royal brute! Lots of Patriots were created after reading me.
Common Sense
Christmas Night, Washington crossed the Delaware and surprised German Hessians. Then he fled away with a campfire trick and helped win a second battle a week later.
Battle of Trenton and Princeton
Fought on both sides, but more for the British, mainly because America didn't let them fight right away. Some gained their freedom for serving. The Southern states never let them fight.
African Americans
Biggest traitor in American history. You got to feel a little bad for the guy, though. He was undervalued and in love!
Benedict Arnold
3000 miles, dang that's a long way.
British weakness
This document officially ended the Revolutionary War. It happened in a city where a lot of these happen.
Treaty of Paris of 1783

Nathan Hale
We're German. We don't really want to be fighting here.
British weakness
I am the part of the Declaration where the Patriots told the King all of the bad things he did.
List of Grievences
Considered the turning point of the war. This big W for the U.S. would finally convince France to help join the war effort. 5,700 Redcoats were taken as prisoners.
Battle of Saratoga
Fought at sea for the U.S. (Not the French) They received legal permission from the government to target British Naval and Merchant vessels.

"We all must hang together, or most assuredly, we shall all hang separately."
