Pathos
The central belief at the heart of an argument. Usually 1-3 sentences that clearly state what the argument is trying to prove.

What is Pathos and lies?
Statements that say something is true; statements of belief. These are like smaller versions of a thesis that back up the actual thesis.

Cats are the best animal because they are so cute! SQUEEEEE!

"If you don't love soccer, you're a fool. It's the best game ever."
