What are character traits?
Character traits can be inside and outside qualities about a character; what they look like; how they act or respond to problems in a story.

Alex shut the lid to his laptop with a loud clap. Some of the people sitting at the tables near him looked up from their books and gave him annoyed looks. Alex realized that he had disturbed them and held up his hands apologetically.

He probably wouldn't have changed at all and would have stayed selfish and unkind.

On your whiteboard, draw a venn diagram. One side should be your 3rd grade teacher, the other side should be your 4th grade teacher. Compare us both to see what character traits are the same. Your answers may be different from your group's depending on who you had for 3rd grade.
