Representatives from nine of the thirteen colonies met in Boston to discuss the colonists’ response to the Stamp Act. This meeting is known today as the Stamp Act Congress. The Congress agreed upon the Declaration of Rights. Eventually, this along with protest, colonial boycotts, and British merchants the stamp act was repealed.
