This program offers a variety of student success programming such as coaching, career development, financial literacy education, and more to eligible students (first generation, low-income, or students with a documented disability).

This resource is located in the JPL South Commons and might be able to help you out of a jam with your essays.

This center provides students with academic peer coaching, tutoring services, and more opportunities for students to receive academic support.

This center offers UTSA students professional development, networking events, job fairs, and more to support students with reaching their chosen vocation.

This program at Breakthrough offers support in professional development and securing internships to encourage students to ask themselves, "what comes next after I obtain my degree?"

This feathery statue is positioned right outside the Multidisciplinary Studies building and, despite his name, is actually NOT running on a road.
What is the Rowdy Roadrunner statue?
This desk located on the first floor of the Union is a lifesaver for lost students or just a great place to stop by to learn more about upcoming events and programs at the Union-- it's also a popular work-study position for students!
What is the Information Desk?
Breakthrough advisors will set up in this area of the JPL for our Rowdy Roundtables where we meet with students to support them in removing academic/financial holds, register for courses, plan strategies out for semester success, or any other priorities they have.
What is the JPL South Commons study area?
These peer tutoring programs offer support through walk-in or scheduled tutoring at the JPL led by students who have successfully completed core or gateway courses.
What are the Supplemental Instruction (SI) and Synergistic Targeted Academic Review Sessions (STARS) tutoring programs?
These two courses are required for freshmen at UTSA through the First Year Experience Program and support students in transitioning into college life with academic strategies, exploring college resources, and building a community on campus through a peer mentor.
What are the AIS (Academic Inquiry and Scholarship) and UPM (University Peer Mentorship) courses?
This room offers students a place to relax and have fun playing a wide variety of games ranging from pool and air hockey to videogames on the Switch and Playstation (just to name a few!)
What is the Roost Gameroom?
