When and where do you return books?
Books are due every 2 weeks. Return books to the blue cart.
What is something safe you should always do when browsing for a book in the library?
Use walking feet, no running!
When I ring the bell what should you do?
Return to your seat and listen to the speaker.
Where are the Everybody books located? What are the on the spine labels?
On the shelves under the Everybody sign. they are marked as Everybody with the call number beginning with E.
To be respectful, what should you do if you have a question or something to say?
Raise your hand and wait your turn to speak.
What should you do if you find a rip or tear in your book and it needs repaired?
Bring to the library and give to Mrs. Senn or Mrs. Shaver to put in the book hospital.
What should you do when you hear "Hands and Eyes"?
Place anything you have in your hands on the table, place your hands in your lap, put your eyes on me.
Where are the magazines located?
Near the story pit on the wooden magazine rack.
Where are the Fiction chapter books located; what are the on the spine labels?
On the shelves under the Fiction sign marked with Fic for Fiction on the spine and a color label for the genre.
What is something you can do to be safe in your chair?
Sit with all four chair legs on the floor
What should you do after checking out? Choose something from the "I’M DONE What do I do now?" papers.
Return to your seat and finish your work or read quietly.
What is a nonfiction book?
A book that teaches you facts or gives you information.

If you change your mind about a book and don't know where it belongs on the library shelves, what should you do?
Place it on top of a book shelf.

Quiet, single file, line order, facing the front.
