When someone enters the branch it is important to do what?
Make eye contact and verbally recognize them.

Look for noticeable characteristics. Scars, Tattoos, deformities, marks, etc
What is the first thing you need to do if you weren't able to do it safely when the robber was in the branch.
Activate the Alarm.
If at any point during the robbery you were unable to or it was unsafe to activate the alarm, the first thing that needs to be done is activating that alarm. This will lock the doors and alert police and fraud and security that there was a hold up and an emergency.

Remain calm and act rationally. Calmly explain what you are doing. Explain each movement or action, making your movements slow and deliberate. Only do what you are asked to do.

If the robbery involves a note, handle it with care. Try to only hold the edges to not interfere with obtaining fingerprints and try to keep the note, by sliding it to the side, or onto the floor, if it is safe to do so.
Keep in mind anything else they have touched or may have touched.

Make sure that everyone in the branch is ok. If anyone is injured, do what we can to take care of them till emergency services arrive.

False. They need to stay separated, so they don't talk and confuse each other. Also do your best to stay calm and keep the member's calm.

SAFETY. Try and get the robber in and out as quickly as possible. Any potential loss to the CU is not worth any risk of severe injury or loss of life.

Observe the escape (Direction, car make and model, license plate number). However, remain inside the branch and do not chase after the robber.
What do you do with the caution tape we have?
Block off area that Robber may have been. Include station, floor, door handle, note, anything they may have touched.
