My first composition was "Rondeau in C" when I was only 15 years old! I was a child prodigy from Poland and was very influenced by listening to my mother and sister play the piano.

In this Puccini opera, "Un bel di vedremo" is sung by Cio Cio San, who falls in love with an American soldier while he is stationed in Nagasaki, Japan.
