The first game in a ongoing series, this game takes place in a post-apocalyptic California. You play as resident of a 'Vault' who is sent to retrieve a part in wasteland to keep your home functioning. This game was recently made into a TV series.
Fallout
A first-person military shooter game that has over eight games, that allows you to play in both single player campaign and multiplayer. It is most widely known for its multiplayer portion of game.
Call of Duty
In this post-apocalyptic game, you play as an angry mailman that is hunting down a casino owner who shot you in the head for a poker chip.
Fallout: New Vegas
One of the many games in this series, this game follows a father and son duo as they struggle to come to terms with each other and their places in the world, as well as in each other's lives. There are heavy Greek and Norse mythology influences and elements to the game.
God of War: Ragnarok
The first game in a long series, you can control one of two brothers and explore a mushroom kingdom as you search for, and attempt to rescue a princess from an opposing king.
Mario Bros
In this game, you play a character who climbs in status within a criminal underworld across three cities. You can progress through the game by accruing points, which can be done by completing missions and committing crimes. The most common and popular choice is stealing and boosting cars.
Grand Theft Auto
Dragons, vampires, werewolves, giants, and deities; you can find tall of them in this game as you play the 'Chosen One' that will stop the end of the world as you know it. Along the way, you can join organizations that range from magic school to a dying brotherhood of assassins and put an end to a civil war. You may also choose to do none of these things and simply become a farmer with a family that eats everything possible: giants' toes, butterfly wings, blocks of cheese, and bees.
Skyrim
The second game in an ongoing Star Wars game series, you play as a Jedi who survived Order 66 as a Padawan. He has a small crew of friends and a robot companion that help him as he uncovers a place where any surviving Jedi could be safe form he Empire.

A 2020 action RPG where you play as a mercenary that you can customize everything about, down to their background. Two things remain the same no matter what you do to make you character your own: one, you are dying with very little time left, and two, you have Keanu Reeves in your head providing commentary on everything you do whether you like it or not.
