In the bin that goes in the drawer behind Mrs. Nagy's desk, or it can stay in your locker. It is not on you at any time.

Sit in a chair, indoor voices, being nice to one another.
Where is our bathroom?
On the same floor - down the hallway.
Gender neutral is by the gym.
If you are in music, you go to the upstairs bathroom.
Can you ask to go to the bathroom and then go to the office to call home?
No. Tell Mrs Nagy you are not feeling well.
What type of headphones are okay to wear?
Noise cancelling. No bluetooth.
Why does Mrs. Nagy want you to be quiet during lessons?
Her ADHD can't handle all of the noise, it effects everyone elses learning, it effects your learning
Where do you go once Mrs. Nagy calls you inside?
To your locker to put things away.
Where are the boundaries for outside?
The overhang and the red pole.
Where is our fountain?
Towards the gym on our floor.
If you are in music, it is on the same floor.
What happens if a parent drops something off for you?
Wait for Mrs. Nagy to tell you it is okay to go and grab it.
What happens if someone sees your phone the first time?
Goes directly into Mrs. Nagy's drawer
If you have a question or an answer, what should you do?
Raise your hand and wait to be called on
Get your chair and sit at your own desk. Look at the board for instructions.
If your friends go past the boundaries, what should you do?
If they do not listen, wait for a teacher or grab the teacher on duty.
What is the expectation in the hallways and bathroom?
No swearing, no running, no acting a fool.
Go where you need to in an appropriate manner.
Your friend is not feeling well in the bathroom. What should you do?
Come and find Mrs. Nagy, she will go in and assist if needed.
What is the last resort if you do not follow the rules?
Phone goes to Ms. Francis and parents have to pick it up.
Ignore them, not engage in the conversation, tell them you are trying to listen
Could you do something that is not listed on the board?
Yes, if you ask for Mrs. Nagy's permission.
Grade 7s - if you leave school property, what are your expectations?
Act like a good person - don't be dumb
You are representing CB. If a community member calls, you will lose your privilege.
Your friends are acting silly, should you copy what they are doing?
No, be the mature one.
Are you allowed your phone for something if you ask Mrs. Nagy?
Yes, if she knows what it is being used for and you do it in front of her.
Can you get up during a lesson?
Only to sharpen pencil.
How should you act on the playground before the bell goes?
The same rules as recess - hands and feet to yourself, no swearing, acting appropriately.
Can you leave whenever you want?
No. The teacher must be notified.
