What is the first thing you do when you walk into the classroom?
Walk to the blue bookshelf and grab your curriculum books for the day (Math textbook, Science textbook, ISN's)

How should you walk in the hallway?
On your feet, one step at a time - Quiet, single file in two lines. Please face forward, hands to yourself. Do not make us use Kindergarten as an example to get you to follow expectations.
What should you do when a classmate or teacher is talking?
Practice active listening skills, be engaged and present in the conversation and wait your turn to speak.
What is our procedure for a fire drill?
Immediately get to a "level 0", wait for direct instructions from the teacher and be calm and ready to do what is asked of you.
Where do you put your backpack when you arrive?
On the back of your chair
What do you do if you need a tissue?
Calmly, without distracting everyone, get up to grab one
What does "voice level 1" mean?
A whisper
What is a respectful way to get the teacher's attention?
Raise your hand, we will not respond if you call our names 8,000 times
Where do we line up in the classroom for a drill?
At either the front or back doors, this is the only exception to line order
What should you be doing during morning meeting/work time?
Sitting at your desk at a level 1, and answering the questions on the board in your Morning composition notebooks
What supplies should be on/in your desk during a lesson?
Science and Math Textbooks, Science and Math ISN's, Binder
What happens if you're too loud during transitions?
We do it again and again and again, until it's done right
What do you do if you see someone being unkind?
Speak up, advocate for them, if it persists tell a teacher
What should your voice level be during a lockdown drill?
Level 0, no exceptions

What is the correct thing that you should do when getting up to grab anything in the classroom?
1st. If we are teaching, do not get up without raising your hand. If we are in independent work or stations, please stand up, push in your chair and calmly go grab what you need. This is not the time to sightsee or talk to your bestie.

Give me 5, any other attention getter we come up with
What do you do if you're in the bathroom during a drill?
Finish up and immediately head to the nearest classroom, regardless of grade level or where you're at.
What do you do if you forget your homework?
It's okay, make sure it is done and ready to turn in by Friday.
What do you do with your finished work?
Depending on the work, either turn it into the Math/Science bin OR put in your Math/Science folders in your binder - You will be instructed where to put it

Bathroom and Water - Self Explanatory
How can you show that you're ready to learn?
Sitting up, engaged, and interested in the lesson. You will have all your materials, ect.
What's something you should never do during a drill?
Play around, scream and cry, laugh and joke with your friends, run away from the class
