Piercing Policy

What is, facial piercings must be the plastic atraumatic flexible retainer style that allows the piercing to come out with minimal to no trauma. Earrings should be studs, no dangle or hooped earrings and gauges must be plugged. Staff can cover their facial piercings if they do not want to replace them with a flexible one. A mask or bandage that covers the piercing completely is acceptable.

The protocol for charging out with Trupanion

What is, making sure all charges and an RTG are in the PVL, converting the PVL into an open invoice. Then logging into Trupanion express, find the patient and start a claim. Verify that Trupanion has the correct invoice before submitting claim.  If the claim is approved, you will go back to the invoice and at the charge out screen enter in the amount that was approved by Trupanion and select Trupanion as the payment type, O to pay the balance left over if there is a balance.
