She invited him to the house to help take something down. She also sent the kids to get ice cream so that they were alone. When Tom was going to the top, she pulled him down and started kissing him. She also told him to kiss her back. Tom tried to leave but she went on top of him. After all, Mayella was lying and trying to get back at Tom for not liking her as she liked him.
