What is the procedure for borrowing a pencil from our classroom?
With permission from my teacher, I will selected a numbered pencil from the pencil cup from bookshelf and sign my name on the pencil rental roster next to the number that matches the number on the pencil I am borrowing.

What happens as the first consequence when you break the classroom rules?
1st offense is a warning. Your teacher will give you a warning slip and redirect your behavior.
What is the restroom procedure?
I must go during all of the assigned whole group restroom breaks. NO HALL PASSES WILL BE PROVIDED!!
Are you allowed to wear hoodies in the school?
No hoodies are allowed!!
If you are absent, are you still responsible for the missing work?
Yes, I will find the work that I missed in the missing work file bin on our student resource bookshelf area.

If I am consistently breaking rules, what are other consequences that can happen?
Other consequences include completing behavior reflection form; parent-teacher conference, referral to guidance Counselor, in-school/out of school parent teacher conference.
How do I need to enter Ms. Townsend's classroom, and what do I do when I first enter the classroom?
I must enter Ms. Townsend's classroom by walking quietly to my assigned seat and I will immediately begin my DO NOW assignment.
What colored uniform shirt will I wear as a 6th grader?
As a 6th grader, I will wear a read polo shirt.
What do I do if I finish my work early in class?
If I finish early, I will need to check my work for errors; start my homework/study or I can ask my teacher for permission to get an independent book from the bookshelf to begin a book report.
What are the procedures for working in small groups?
Everyone will stay on task, and everyone will be responsible for participating and completing the assignment task. Students will use a leve 1-2 voice level and use accountable talk phrases in group discussions.
What are the hallway rules?
I will walk on the right side of the hallway with level 0 voice level so I won't be a disruption to other students that may be learning in other classrooms that I may pass during my transition.
How do I exit Ms. Townsend's classroom?
I will wait for the teacher to give me directions to move and line up.
What time should I report to school?
I should report to school by 7:15. If I want to eat breakfast, I must report to school by 6:50.
What are Mrs. Townsend's Champ's procedure during the Teacher's instruction?
I will have be silent and attentive, engage in note-taking and/or a whole group discussion, etc. I will ask questions when the teacher has prompted me to do so. There will be no movement.
If I have a question, how do I get my teacher's attention?
I must raise my hand and wait for my teacher to call on me to speak.
What area of the room are students not allowed?
I am not allowed to sit or touch anything on Ms. Townsend's desk; or go into her desk draws; file cabinet, or touch anything in Ms Townsend's workstation area.
What materials will you bring daily to Ms. Townsend's classroom?
I will bring notebook paper, a pencil, my composition book and assigned device/textbook.
If I am absent, what must I bring when I return to school in order for my absence to be excused?
I muse bring a signed note from my parent or doctor's statement if I was sick during my absence.
How often will you get Homework in Ms. Townsend's class? What could be a possible homework assignment in her class?
Possible homework assignments may consist of an assigned practice handout; completing unfinished work from class/studying for my Friday's test.
