When is it okay to use the bathroom?
1. During arrival/interventions (8:00-8:50)

Where do you put notes that need to go to the office (e.g. transportation changes, absence excuses, doctor notes)?
In the red folder on the outside of the hallway door.
How do you turn in papers to the paper sorter?
Find your number. Lift the tab with your number on it. Place your paper under the tab with your name on top.
What should you do when someone is speaking over the intercom?
Continue working silently. Only Mrs. King should respond to someone who comes over the intercom.
What should you do if you need to get a tissue to blow your nose during whole group instruction?
Wait until we transition to independent or small group.
What should you do when Mrs. King rings the meditation bell?
1. Stop anything you are doing.
2. Listen silently to the ringing sound.
3. Raise your hand when you can no longer hear the ring.
If papers are passed out and you don't get one, what should you do?
Raise your hand.
What should you do during the pledge and morning announcements?
Stand up during the pledge and Star Patriot Expectations. Sit down and remain silent during any morning announcements.
What should you do if you need to get a tissue to blow your nose during independent or small group instruction?
1. Quickly and quietly move to the closest tissue box.
2. Blow your nose.
3. Throw away your tissue in the closest trash can.
4. Use hand sanitizer.
What do you do when you want your teacher's attention?

How are you supposed to move in the hallways?
Walk on the first white square, no unnessesary noise

1. Ask yourself.
2. Ask someone in your small group/table group.
3. Ask someone else in your small group/table group.
4. Put your name on the Three Before Me board and Mrs. King will check in with you as soon as she can.
What should be in your desk?
Math binder, science folder, pencil/erasable pen, Workbooks as needed
What happens if I am disrespectful to a teacher or another adult?
Stop and Think

1. Stop everything you are doing.
2. Reply with the answer (36). If you do not know the answer, remain silent.
3. Wait silently for instructions.
What should you do if your pencil is not sharpened?
Turn in your dull pencil and take a sharpened pencil at the supplies station.
If you cannot concentrate at your desk because your neighbors are noisy, what should you do?
- Ask them nicely to quiet down.
- Move to another work space.
