What happens if you are tardy?
-Classroom door will be locked
-You must report to the In House Room

Where should you turn in your homework?
- On Canvas
- In the HW turn in basket by Ms. Russell's desk
NOT ON MS. RUSSEL'S DESK! (That is where things go to disappear FOREVER)
When do you complete bellwork?
As soon as you enter the classroom at the beginning of the period.
How do you dispose of trash?
At the end of the period, drop your trash INTO the trash can. Pickup any missed trash around the trashcan.
Can you go to your locker if you have come to class unprepared?
No, if you have forgotten a required tool, go to the bookshelves to see if something is available to borrow. If not, ask Ms. Russell BEFORE class starts.
How do you move around the classroom?
Quietly, get up, go directly to where you need to go. Do not stop to disturb others.
How do you get Ms. Russell's attention?
Raise your hand (quietly) and remain seated.
What is the procedure for going to the restroom?
Raise your hand using the restroom signal.
Sign out using the QR code by the door.
Take the pass.
Only one person out at a time so please be courteous with your time.
Besides your Bell Ringer, what should you do at the beginning of every class period?
Copy down the homework assignment into your binder.
How will Ms. Russell get the class's attention?
Take 5. She will say Take 5, 4,3,2,1. Take that time to finish conversations and prepare to focus.
When should you copy down the homework assignment?
As soon as you enter and are in your seat before starting the Bell Ringer.
What should you do if you need to sharpen your pencil?
-Sharpen it at the beginning of class
-Wait until independent work time
-Borrow a pre-sharpened pencil from the basket
What does the Device Stoplight tell you?
Red- No devices out
Yellow- Devices may be pulled out for quick school related questions but should not stay out
Green- Devices are being actively used for the activity.
What happens when the bell rings?
Stay in your seat until you are dismissed by the teacher.
