How do we sit on the carpet?
With our legs crossed and our hands in our laps.
What does a sticker in my book mean?
A house point!
What am I allowed to play with?
Everything that is out (not in cupboards)
What do we need to remember to take up to the canteen?
Either our snack/ lunch box or our Vircle card.
Where are we allowed to play?
Level 1 and level 2.
How do we answer or ask a question?
By raising our hand.
How do we sit at the table?
On our bottom, with our fleet flat on the ground and chair tucked in.
Who tidies up?
The person who made the mess (although others can help).
How do we move around the canteen?
Walk.
When are we allowed into the play area?
When there is an adult there.
What do I do with my whiteboard, pen and eraser when I am not using it?
Put my whiteboard pen and eraser under my whiteboard in my lap.
Where do I get the resources from?
The drawers.
How do we know when it is time to tidy up?
An adult will ring the tambourine.
How do we get canteen food?
We line up, choose our food and pay for it using the Vircle card.
Where is the toilet?
Near the Year 1 Shared Area.
When do we use the whiteboards?
When the slide has the picture of 2 people (we do it together) or 1 person (I do it by myself).
What if I need help?
Ask your brain (you could also try using some resources), your buddy and then the boss.
How do we know when the area is tidy?
Everything have been put back where it belongs (use the labels to help you).
When are we allowed to go to play?
When we have finished eating.
How do we know it is the end of playtime?
The bell will ring.
What does a tab in my book mean?
I have a next step I need to complete before I start my next activity.
What do I do when I have finished the activity?
Check my work, then get a challenge.
When are we allowed back in the classroom?
When the bell has gone and when an adult is in the classroom.
What do we do when we are finished?
Clear any left over food into the bin, put cutlery in the tub and stack our tray.
How do we move back to our classrooms?
We walk.
