100

Number of players on the line

7 from each team

100

Who can call a foul?

Only the people directly involved. You must call your own fouls

100

What is a spirit circle?

Both teams come together at the end of the game to share lowlight/highlight/other thoughts. What happens in these spirit circles varies.

100

Define disc space

The space the person with the disc is entitled to that allows the to pivot

100

What number does the stall go to?

Ten. The thrower must release the disc by the T in ten.

200

When does a turn over happen? (ie teams switch from offense to defense)

Pass is incomplete, interception, stall count reaches ten, or disc is caught out of bounds.

200

What happens when you don't know a rule?

You can ask for clarification from teammate or opposing player. Players off the field may also clarify a rule but they may not pass judgement.
200

What do you do when someone is playing recklessly?

You can call dangerous play. Play stops and it is treated as a foul. It cannot be contested.

200

What can you call a time out for?

Strategy, injury, spirit of the game, technical. You can only gather as a team if the time out is for strategy (called a team time out).

200

What happens when stall reaches ten and disc is not thrown?

Turnover. The defensive team gets the disc where it is. (your team did a super good job on defense)

300

How does every point start?

With a pull!

300

What happens when a foul does not affect play?

Play stops, thrower acknowledges call but then continue without any change.

300

What is a spirit captain?

Someone who is selected to talk about spirit issues with the opposing team. This person is usually knowledgable about rules and can be calm in tense situations.

300

How do you call a time out?

The person with the disc makes a T with both of their hands

300

What are marking violations and how is stall affected?

Fast count, disc space/contact, double team. When these are called by the thrower, stall count drops by two (if you just said 7, you would say 6). Play does not stop. If the person marking does not drop stall count the thrower calls violation, play stops, and stall count resets to zero.

400

What is the risk in trying to catch the pull?

If you drop the pull it is a turnover.

400

What happens when a call is made while the disc is in the air?

Catch the disc! The disc is live.

400

Give specific example of bad spirit.

Answers may vary. (ex: calling your teammate in bounds when in reality they were not)

400

What does it mean to give line?

Players on the sidelines must back up from the sideline to give enough space for game play.

400

How many people can guard the thrower?

Only one may be within a ten foot radius unless there is another offensive player moving through the space. A violation of this is called a double team.

500

What is soft cap and hard cap?

Soft cap=a time limit goes off and to win the game you must win by two.

Hard cap=a time limit that goes off after soft cap. You have to win by one.

500

What is a pick?

When anyone gets in between you and the person you are defending. If you have to slow your momentum or change directions as a result of another person (even from your own team), this is a pick. Picks are unintentional.

500

Give an example of good spirit.

Answers may vary. (ex: complementing opposing player on a good play)

500

What is a callahan?

You score by intercepting the other team's pass in your endzone!! HUGE deal. (but devastating if it happens to you...)

500

What happens to the stall count after a contested foul?

The stall count starts on the number after the number you just said unless the stall count was above five. In that case, you start by saying stall six.
