Close all pools immediately, contact front desk, escalate to police when/if needed.
Staff should help look for the missing person.

Must have an adult with them in the water in the deeper half of the pool.
If there is no lifeguard present, they must have an adult in the water, within arms reach of them at all times.

What are the limitations for all the wristbands?
Red- Adult in water at all time. No dive well. No deep end of lap pool. No slides. No hot tub.
Yellow- Must have adult supervision at all times. No dive well. Can use slides if they meet credentials. No hot tub.
Green—The guardian must be in the facility. To obtain full access to all pools, except the hot tub, one must take a swim test.
What would one do if a patron falls off the diving board ladder?
Blow two long whistles. Begin with a rapid assessment & assist with care.
If someone reports a suspected biohazard in the pool, what should you do?
Ask the patron where the suspected biohazard is, & call over the manager.

Can both one-meter boards be opened at the same time? Why or why not?
No, because it is a hazard for people swimming away from the high dive.
They can both only be open during a rental.

Stride/compact from the ground. No jumping from the stand.
When do you get to leave at the end of your shift?

After all of the cleaning duties have been completed thoroughly & you have talked to the manager, if you need to leave early, you must communicate that with the manager BEFORE the end of the shift.

When there is an EAP, what should a guard do as the rescuing lifeguard and as the assisting responder?
Rescuing Lifeguard: Incident Director. Help the injured person(s) as much as you can.
Assisting responder: Assist the primary lifeguard as much as possible, ensuring 911 has been called. Bring any additional equipment if needed. Assist with emergency responders (directing them where to go), when available, assist with patron surveillance.
