The hot sun beat down on my back, causing burns as red as cherries. The white sand was almost sizzling against my feet. Crystal clear blue waters washed over my sandy feet and brought instant cooling relief. The sounds of loud squawking seagulls and the jingling bells of ice cream stands filled my ears. I savored every bite of the icy cold strawberry cone. The creamy, fruity goodness felt soothing going down my throat.
