The process by which schools and institutions in the United States forced Native Americans to join American culture.

Set of amendments that abolished slavery, institued birthright citizenship/equal protection of the laws, and opened voting rights to Black Americans.

Time period where food workers went on strike to protest unfair wages and poor working conditions

Supreme Court case that determined how people could give unlimited amounts of money to a political party they choose

A conflict that started because Dakota tribe members stole food from white settlers as they were starving.
