This should be done before the shift to loosen up the muscles.

The operator will load these on a special buggy for the autodoffer.
Tubes
Waste yarn goes in this piece of the machine and is piped to a waste buggy.
Aspirator (Airmover)
A breakout during the transfer from one set bobbins to the next set.
Doff Break
The Rotac inserts this into the yarn.
Tac (nodes)
Knees
These will pick up full buggies and take them from Extrusion to Twisting
AGVs (Robots)
After going around the cooling drum this should be pressed to ramp up to full production speed.
Start
These move yarn back and forth on the winder.
Wings
This should be on all packages and is used for Twisting to tie in the next package
Tail
These should be worn for hearing protection.
Earplugs and earmuffs (Double hearing protection)
The doffer will pick these up off a special buggy to place on the winder
Tubes
The plug should be set at this position on the cooling drum.
6 o'clock
This button should be pressed before threading the draw off and Rotac.
Start.
Incorrect tension can lead to these types of packages.
Hard or soft package
Any unsafe condition should be reported to this person.
Supervisor
The doffer picks finished packages up off of this.
Winder Doff tray
The yarn path wraps around this set of godets after the inlet godets.
Pre-Draw
The fine tune speed adjust at the winder can be used to adjust this.
Tension
This is when filaments from one stack jump over to the the threadline beside it.
Splitter/ Crossover filaments
This is used to remove waste wraps from the machine after a breakout.
Burn Gun (Hot Knife)
The auto doffer will move back and forth on this in the ground.
Track
The amount the yarn is stretched before it is texturized by heat and draw roll speed of the godet.
Draw Ratio
Scanning Roll (Scanner Roll)
