What is the difference between a good secret or a bad secret?
Good secrets make you feel happy, loved and cared for. (example; surprise party or gifts for someone, secret handshake with a friend, secret about a crush)
Bad secrets make you feel sad, mad or confused.
Unsafe Touch- hits, kicks or punches that leave long lasting marks, bruises or broken bones.
Confusing Touch- when someone tries to look at, touch or take a picture of your privates without a very good reason.

What is cyber-bullying?
Willful and repeated harm inflicted through electronic text, email or websites.
Is it okay to yell at a classmate and say that you will kill them or hurt them when you are mad?
No, absolutely not! You will be sent to speak to Ms. Blue or Ms. Roulston. This is a threat and we take it very seriously. If you are angry, use calming strategies or get help from the teacher. Never threaten someone.
An adult stranger asks for you to help them. Should you help?
If someone on the street is asking you for help, you should turn them down with a clear "no" and quickly leave. If a person really needs help, they’ll turn to adults first.

Why is password security important? (keeping passwords secret and using strong passwords)
Repeatedly using the same passwords or using 'weak' passwords can leave you vulnerable to hackers. If a hacker cracks your passwords, they could gain access to your social media accounts, bank accounts, emails and other sensitive accounts that hold your confidential, personal data. (Examples of bad passwords; birthday, dogs name..)

Never get into a car with someone you know, unless your mom or dad knows about it.
Is it always a stranger that abuses children?
No. Statistically, it's usually a family member or close trusted friend of the family.
It might be someone you know, like a babysitter, a teacher, an athletic coach, a friend or even someone in your family.
What is a digital footprint?
A digital footprint is your online identity and it's what makes you unique. It builds the online reputation or impression depending on the things you do online. It is important to be aware of it because anything posted online is permanent and stays there forever regardless of being deleted.

What should you do if your friend wants to show you a gun?
Never look at or play with guns! A parent should always be present when a gun is around.
If someone is hurting you at home (hitting, pushing, touching privates), always tell a trusted adult so that you can help make it stop.
What is Catphishing?
Catphishing is a form of online deception that involves using a fake identity to lure unknowing victims into a relationship with the intent of exploiting them for money or access to private data.
What is a bystander and an upstander in a bullying situation?
An upstander is someone who sees or hears the bullying situation and helps out the target by; telling an adult, telling the bully to stop, or asking the target to walk away with them.
It's not tattling if you are trying to keep yourself safe or someone else safe.
What should you do if a friend or someone you don’t know brings a weapon to school (gun/knife, etc)?
Tell a teacher immediately! Never be afraid of someone being mad at you. By telling on them, you are protecting yourself and everyone else in the school.
If you are out playing, what should you do if you notice your being watched?
The right decision in this situation is to enter a supermarket, a hair salon, or any other place with people around and to call the parents from there.
What is diversity?
Diversity means differences. Everyone is special and unique in their own way. It's never ok to make fun of someone's differences
Differences can be things we can see like our height, our skin color, or our gender. But it could also be things on the inside too- like our religious beliefs, the languages we speak or just our own unique feelings and interests.
